The New Orleans Art and Heritage Center inspires the public to learn about the variety of ethnic groups that contributed to culture of New Orleans and the artwork produced by those groups. The museum and culture center aims to celebrate and keep alive the spirit of these groups through exhibitions, collections, and educational programs.
Founded in 2010, the New Orleans Art and Heritage Center is a fresh museum and cultural center in downtown New Orleans. NOAHC is separated into two parts: the museum and the cultural center. Our museum is devoted exclusively to the documentation of artwork from indigenous and immigrant cultures established in New Orleans. Our cultural center is home to all of NOAHC’s events. The cultural center prides itself on its diverse programming including music, dance, theater, literary, cinematic, and culinary events and more.
